What Is a Ready-Made Tent?

A ready-made tent is a pre-fabricated tent structure manufactured to standard dimensions, packed and stored at our warehouse, and available for immediate purchase or rental. Unlike bespoke tents — which are measured, fabricated, and delivered on a project timeline — ready-made tents are off-the-shelf. You choose the size, confirm the order, and the tent arrives within 24 to 72 hours across the UAE.

They are not inferior to custom tents. The same fabric grades, the same steel or aluminium framing, and the same weather ratings apply. The difference is purely dimension flexibility: ready-made tents come in fixed standard sizes rather than custom footprints.

Available Sizes and What They Cover

4 x 4 m Ready-Made Tent

16 square metres of covered space. The most compact option — ideal for garden use, small outdoor seating areas, farm storage shade, or as a personal event shelter. Sets up with two people in under two hours.

Typical use: Home garden sitting area, small family gatherings, camping trips, market stall shade.

Seating capacity (chairs): 12 to 16 people.

6 x 4 m Ready-Made Tent

24 square metres. The most popular size for private events and semi-commercial use. Wide enough to hold a dining table configuration on one side and a seating area on the other. The 4 m depth keeps it manageable in tighter outdoor spaces.

Typical use: Birthday parties, small community gatherings, outdoor dining areas, vehicle protection shade, farm equipment cover.

Seating capacity (chairs and tables): 20 to 30 people.

8 x 5 m Ready-Made Tent

40 square metres. The go-to size for events with 30 to 60 attendees. Large enough to hold proper banquet-style table arrangements with a service corridor. Can be linked to a second unit to double capacity.

Typical use: Corporate outdoor events, weddings with secondary reception zones, Ramadan iftar setups, outdoor exhibitions and trade shows.

Seating capacity (banquet-style): 40 to 60 people depending on arrangement.

Larger Sizes: 10 x 6 m and Above

Fabric Options

All ready-made tents from Arab Muzalat use UV-stabilised polyethylene or canvas-grade PVC fabric rated for UAE outdoor conditions:

• Standard HDPE (high-density polyethylene): 180 to 200 gsm. Blocks 90 to 95 percent of UV rays. Breathable, lightweight, good for general shade use. Lifespan 3 to 5 years.
• Heavy-duty PVC canvas: 280 to 350 gsm. Full waterproofing, better heat resistance, ideal for permanent or semi-permanent setups. Lifespan 5 to 8 years.
• Blackout fabric: Blocks 98 to 100 percent of light, used for photography setups, cinema screenings, or privacy enclosures. Available on request.

Colour options on standard stock: white, beige, green, navy blue. Custom colours require a 2 to 3 week lead time and minimum order quantity.

Frame Construction

Ready-made tents in the standard range use one of two frame systems:

• Galvanised steel tube frame: Heavier, more wind-resistant, better for semi-permanent setups and high-wind coastal areas including Dubai and Abu Dhabi coastline zones. Standard on 8 x 5 m and larger.
• Powder-coated aluminium frame: Lightweight, rust-proof, easier to transport and set up without equipment. Standard on 4 x 4 m and 6 x 4 m sizes.

Delivery and Setup

Standard delivery time from order confirmation: 24 to 48 hours within Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman. For remote emirate locations (Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain), allow 48 to 72 hours.

Installation is available as an add-on service. A trained crew of two to four people can set up a 6 x 4 m tent in under three hours including ground anchoring. For 8 x 5 m tents, allow four to six hours.

If you prefer self-assembly, all tents ship with illustrated instructions and all fixings included. A 6 x 4 m unit is manageable by two adults with basic tools.

Permit Requirements for Ready-Made Tents in UAE

Ready-made tents used for temporary events (three days or fewer) on private land do not typically require a municipality permit. For longer-duration setups, or tents on public or commercial land, a temporary structure permit from the relevant municipality (Dubai DM, Abu Dhabi DCA, Sharjah PW&D, Ajman Municipality) is required.
